app name
WEB: go to URL (directly)
command
/go
description
Go to a given URL location; Parses provided text or selected HTML. [EXPERIMENTAL]

HTTP referrer is "anonymized".

USE: Most useful when parsing a URL from provided text, selected HTML, or a redirection link. Also useful with default keywords and auto-run settings.

EXAMPLE: /go url=http%3A%2F%2Fups.com → http://ups.com

Will try to go directly to URLs within URLs, such as tracking redirection links. Ex: When a user tries to right click and copy a link in Google results.

TECHNICAL: Anonymization excludes `referer` from HTTP header by using a data URI and `meta http-equiv=refresh`.

RELATED: /linkify, /post, /noref, /1, /back, /hta, /txtlink, /urled, /upd, /www, /ssl
